Permission for development which will consist of (i) The demolition of existing buildings and temporary accommodation on the existing school campus. (ii) The retention and refurbishment of c. 50% of the existing 2007 building (837 sq.m) and 100% of the existing 2015 building (c.653 sq.m). (iii) The construction of a new part two and part three storey extension c. 8,085 sq.m in area. The proposed extension will facilitate an increase in pupil enrolment from c. 550 to 850 students. (iv) The provision of a new one-way road entered via the north-east of the development site and exiting to the western local road. The works include the widening of the existing western local road, new foothpaths, a total of 36 no. vehicular set down spaces, including 2 no. accessible set-down spaces and 6 no. bus set-down spaces. (v) The provision of 79 no. designated staff car parking spaces within the school campus including 4 no. accessible spaces and 16 no. EV charging spaces with future provision for EV charging to all parking spaces. The works include the provision of 180 no. bicycle parking spaces within the school grounds. (vi) The provision of 2 no. ball courts and a multi-use games area (MUGA) to the south and east of the site. (vii) The provision of civil and landscape works throughout the site. (viii) The provision of an LPG gas tank enclosure, external store and covered work area along the eastern boundary. (ix) Works within the public realm including the relocation of an existing pedestrian crossing at Hazelwood to the north, and all required connections to the existing drainage and utilities to the north, east and south of the development site.
