The development will consist of a facility for the recovery of waste concrete (17 01 01) and waste asphalt (17 03 02 – bituminous mixtures other than those mentioned in 17 03 01) on a 1.5ha area at Ballinascorney Quarry, as conducted previously at this site. The recovered materials will meet the Environmental Protection Agency End of Waste Criteria. A Waste Facility Permit will be sought for this activity.
