Permission for development at a c. 2.55 ha site at lands at Crowscastle (to the west of Holywell Distributor Road), Swords, Co. Dublin.
The development will consist of a health, racquets and wellness club facility, including the provision of a two storey club building (4,324 sqm) (max. height 8.65m), 3 no. court enclosed tennis dome (max. height 11m), padel courts, multi-use courts (including shipping container), outdoor and indoor swimming pools, group exercise studios, spa garden (including outdoor sauna) and cafe/restaurant with outdoor terrace and play areas.
The proposed development will also consist of the provision of a vehicular access point from the Holywell Distributor Road; the provision of a pedestrian/cyclist links to lands to the west; service yard; car parking (198 no. spaces, including 10 no. accessible spaces and 20 no. EV spaces with charging points); motorcycle parking; bicycle parking, sub-station; hard and soft landscaping; boundary treatments; changes in levels; signage; external lighting; culverting and diversion of stream; piped infrastructure and ducting; SuDS; plant ; waste management; Solar PV panels; and all ancillary site excavation and development works above and below ground.
A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development.
