The site is located in the southern part of the Phase 1 residential development permitted under Reg. Ref.: SDZ17A/0006, as amended under Reg. Ref.: SDZ18A/0005, Reg. Ref.: SDZ19A/0010, and Reg. Ref.: SDZ20A/0006, and relates to the site of the previously permitted Block E.
The proposed development comprises 22 no. age friendly apartments and will consist of the following:
•Construction of 22 no. age friendly apartment units (18 no. 1 bed units, and 4 no. 2 bed units) in a 5 storey apartment block (Block E), including ancillary communal and staff areas, private and communal open space;
•Associated car and cycle parking, a pedestrian crossing, landscaping, foul and surface water drainage, and all services necessary to facilitate the development;
•All associated site development and ancillary works.
This application will supersede the previous permission for Block E (a 5 storey apartment block containing 18 no. apartments) under the Phase 1 residential development permitted under Reg. Ref.: SDZ17A/0006.The proposed development will increase the total number of residential units within the permitted Phase 1 residential development, as amended, by 4 no. from 175 no. to 179 no. units.
