16 April 2024 An bord pleanala refuses permission for the proposed development
04 January 2024 The decision to grant planning for a major housing development in Tralee has been appealed to An Bórd Pleanála.
Application for a 10 year planning permission for a Large Scale Residential Development (LRD) at Lisloose, Tralee, Co. Kerry, which includes the following:
A). Demolition of disused agricultural outhouses/sheds and ancillary structures.
B). Construction of 235 no. residential units in the following breakdown: B1) 8 no. 4 bedroom 2 storey dwellings, 83 no. 3 bedroom 2 storey dwellings, 34 no. 2 bedroom 2 storey dwellings, 4 no. 2 bedroom single storey dwellings, which comprise of a mix of semi-detached and terraced typologies. B2) 48 no. one bedroom apartments in 12no. 2 storey blocks of 4 apartments each. B3). 10 no. 1 bedroom apartments and 11 no. 2 bedroom apartments with underground car parking in 4 storey Block J1, 10 no. 1 bedroom apartments and 11 no. 2 bedroom apartments with underground car parking in 4 storey Block J2, 8no. 1 bedroom apartments and 8no. 2 bedroom apartments, a 93.1 sq.m. size retail unit and a 226.4 sq.m. size creche in 4 storey block J3.
C) All associated car parking, bicycle parking, roads, paths, boundary treatments, drainage works and services, landscaping, and all associated and ancillary works as shown on the planning application drawings, all on our site at Lisloose, Tralee, Co.
