Amendments to the permitted extension to the mount Lucas substation which includes an extension to the existing compound to accommodate a busbar extension and dedicated bay (Offaly county council ref. 20/218). The proposed amendments include a 25. 5 sq.m control room extension to the existing substation control building and alterations to the layout of the permitted busbar extension and dedicated bay. Permission is also sought for a temporary construction compound on site. Permission is sought for a period of 10 years. A natura impact statement (nis) has been prepared and submitted in respect of the proposed development.
