To carry out the following development: a) Construct a public car park on green field site in the village centre of Bodyke to include b) Provision of vehicular and pedestrian access from the R352 roadway via alterations to existing access. c) Provision of additional pedestrian access to the car park from the adjacent Bodyke Community Park. d) Provision of cycle parking and repair station. e) Installation of public lighting. f) Connection to existing surface water drainage system, via a proposed rain water garden. g) All ancillary site works. In accordance with the Habitats Directive, Appropriate Assessment Screening has been carried out on the project and the screening report accompanies the application. A preliminary examination of the nature, size and location of the development has been carried out pursuant to Article 120(1) of the Planning & Development Regulations, 2000 (as amended) and it has been concluded that there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed deveopment and, accordingly an Environmnetal Impact Assessment is not required
