The Department of Education has announced that the obstacles facing the construction of a new school for Gaelscoil Mhic Amhlaigh have been overcome.
The new building will have 24 classrooms and capacity for 600 pupils, and will be located opposite the pitches at Millars Lane.
It’ll also have a library and resource room and special education classrooms, as well as 36 parking spaces.
Construction will begin early next year.
