The development involves the demolition of an existing single storey extension to the ground and replacement with a three storey modern extension; The existing building is modified to suit the new design layout, with all necessary fire proofing and upgrading works; minimalist decoration; the basement is treated; the buildings roof structure will be partially replaced and finishes will be removed, replaced with both new and salvaged, timber treatment to all exposed timber work. Rot, fungal and damp proofing treatment to affected areas improved. All completions and finishes will be modelled on original design and character. Full removal and replacement of existing electrical installations to be completed in line with electrical drawings and specification. Mechanical works as per specification and drawings; The extension will be traditionally constructed on trench fill foundations, with block and precast floors and roof; all new siteworks and services.
