Redevelop the existing convent building at holy cross convent. this redevelopment comprises: the refurbishment and conservation repair of the convent building to include alterations to the internal layout. Demolition of parts of the convent building namely; the single storey flat roofed mid 20th century meeting rooms and toilets in the original courtyard and restoration of garden within this area and also demolition of the modern single storey hospitality room at the northern end of the western range of the convent. The convent building is listed as a protected structure ref. no. rps 66-8-05 in Killarney town development plan 2009-2015.
