Planning permission is sought for alterations to the granted extension to the nursing home development (reg. Ref. 3065/14; 3110/15). The proposed development will consist of the reconfiguration of the granted extension to the northern side facade of the five storey over basement 83 bed nursing home facility as follows: reduction in area of five storey extension to now provide an extension of gfa 1495 sq.m. Totalling 34 beds; reconfiguration of stair core and corridors on all floors; omission of double bedroom and increase in dayroom area to 75.8 sq.m. on ground floor; provision of dayroom (25 sq.m.) on first floor; omission of two bedrooms on third floor; provision of equip store on ground, third and fourth floor; all associated elevational changes; and all associated engineering and site works necessary to facilitate the development.
