ROTECTED STRUCTURE: The existing site measures 4.48 hectares. There is a Protected Structure on the site. The development shall comprise a four storey building (connected to the existing four storey Retreat House at ground and first floor) with a total gross internal floor area of 2,890 sq.m composed of: (a) A two storey block to the Southeast of the existing Retreat House, with connections at ground and first floor levels, containing reception and entrance hall, dining areas, retreat rooms, offices, kitchen, staff areas and plant areas, with green roof. (b) An intersecting three storey block to the South of the existing Retreat House containing residential (institutional) accommodation, chapel and roof gardens with plant room at third floor level to the North of the block, forming a four storey element at the entrance to the development, and providing access to a communal roof garden, with green roof. (c) A single storey dining room to the South of the new two storey block with clerestory windows and pitched copper effect roof. (d) All associated roads and landscaping works.
