The proposed new development shall consist of : (i) partial demolition of a south east section of the existing school, demolition of existing outbuildings/stores to the north west, and removal of existing temporary buildings, (ii) single storey extension of approximately 2,408sqm, (iii) 2 storey extension of approximately 1,022sqm, (iv) single storey storage/ancillary building of approximately 188sqm, (v) changes to hard and soft play areas and associated site landscaping, (vi) Additional car parking and other associated modifications of the existing site layout including bus and car set down and parking, bicycle storage and ancillary works, (vii) Provision of temporary accommodation cabins of approximately 687 sqm only during the course of the construction of the proposed development. These cabins are to be removed upon completion of the proposed new works. This application is accompanied by a Natura Impact Statement (NIS).
