Extension and alterations to the existing school and all associated site works

Contractors are invited to tender for the construction of a single storey extension to include 3 classrooms as well as upgrade / alteration works within the existing school building. The project scope comprises of the construction of three mainstream classrooms, associated toilets, storage spaces, a link corridor, a new boiler house, etc. It also consists of alterations and refurbishment works to the existing building, including specifically new building services installations throughout. All generally associated site works form part of the scope also. Please note that all works are to be carried out in strict adherence with the Department of Education & Skills relevant Technical Guidance Documents. As the project will also be carried out in a live school (primary) environment, temporary works / phasing, etc., as required to execute the project in a safe manner will need to be taken into account by all tendering Contractors.
