The proposed solar farm is to be located within the townlands of Mooremount, Knockatober, Painestown, Dromin, Knockdinnin, Ballymageragh and Cangy. The proposed project will contain solar panels, ground-mounted frames, inverters, a construction compound, internal access tracks, underground cabling, an on-site substation and ancillary infrastructure. The site is situated on approximately 181 ha and will have an export capacity of approximately 95MW.
