Budget 2021, announced in October 2020, sees the Irish Government increase infrastructure spending by almost 20% to €10.1bn. The government has also announced ambitious plans to tackle the demand for housing, demand that has increased as a result of the COVID crisis. In total these investments and general activity of the Irish economy should see the value of the Irish Construction Industry be worth in excess of €27bn in 2021.
