Bristow Ireland Ltd intends to apply for planning permission at a site of c. 0.47 ha at Sligo Airport, Killaspugbrone, Strandhill, Co. Sligo. The application for planning permission consists of the development of a two-storey extension to the existing Search and Rescue (SAR) Hangar. The extension will be c. 809 sq m GFA, c. 8 m in height, and comprise SAR on-shift accommodation with ancillary facilities including bedrooms, kitchens, offices, workshops, and storerooms. The development also includes demolition removal of berm modifications to and expansion of the existing car park (an increase of some 14 No. car parking spaces) 6 No. bicycle parking spaces lighting drainage boundary treatments hard and soft landscaping plant and equipment and all associated site works above and below ground.
