Permission for the construction of a business park comprising of 6 no. warehouse or light industrial buildings each with ancillary office accommodation and associated yard space. As part of the development, buildings no. 3, 4, 5 and 6 are each to be subdivided into 2 no. warehouse or light industrial units providing a total of 10 no. individual units across the site. The development also includes a new ESB substation, along with 5 no. sprinkler tanks, 5 no. pump houses and 10 no. waste storage areas. Permission is also sought to upgrade an existing vehicular (agricultural) entrance to the site from the L-3004-0 public road, along with the provision of internal roads, footpaths, cycle lanes, parking, landscaping, public lighting, site signage, infrastructure and services including roof-top solar panel arrays to serve each unit, and all associated site development works. The development includes the provision of new or upgraded infrastructure along or adjacent to the L-3004-0 public road, including the upgrade of the existing junction between the L-3004-0 and the L-3605-0 public roads to a staggered cross-road junction, the provision of a signalised pedestrian crossing from the L-3004-906 (Bury’s Bridge to Carrigtwohill pedestrian or cycle route) across the L-3004-0 public road, road markings, public lighting, service infrastructure and all ancillary development. A Natura Impact Statement will be submitted to the planning authority with the application. The Natura Impact Statement will be available for inspection or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during office hours at the offices of the Planning Authority.
