The development will consist of the following:
a) The change of use of the basement and ground floor levels from car park (approximately. 297 sqm) and retail use (approximately. 34.5 sqm) to restaurant use (approximately. 377 sqm) fronting Drury Street and tourist hostel accommodation use (approximately. 322 sqm) fronting South William Street
b) The change of use of the first to fourth floor levels from vacant office to tourist hostel accommodation use comprising a total of 44 no. bedrooms accommodating 273 no. bedspaces in a mixture of 4 – 8 no. person bedrooms (total hostel GFA approximately. 1,717 sqm from basement to fourth floor level). The hostel development will comprise a reception (approximately. 34.5 sqm), lounge area or self-service kitchen (approximately. 115.4 sqm), 2 no. storage areas (approximately. 14.4 sqm) at ground floor level with a main entrance via William Street South.
