The development will consist of: A new National Velodrome and Badminton Centre training facility, providing accommodation over 3 storeys (incorporating basement level) with a maximum proposed building height of 16.5 metres from exterior ground level, including; 250 meter indoor cycling track; 15 no. Badminton courts; 250 no. permanent spectator seats; entrance foyer; sports changing areas; rehabilitation areas; office accommodation;’ meeting facility; bike and maintenance stores; first aid facility; mechanical and electrical service / plant rooms; and other ancillare accommodation;external signage to civic areasand building envelope; internal / external access ramps and steps, and stair cores; paved external civic areas with seating, signage and lighting; landscaping including graded berms; external mountain bike track; new car park distributor road; new service roads; 62 no. car park spaces; internal access road; upgrade works and new entrance from existing internal access road; external bin store; designated vehicle drop off zone; surface water attenuation pond and connection to existing pond; connection to existing waste water network and all associated ancillary site works and services.
