The development will consist of: the general refurbishment and internal re-organisation of existing educational floor space in both the main building and Block K, a 4 No. storey extension to the rear of the main building, linking the main building to Block K, to provide an additional 1, 328sq.m gross floor space resulting in a total floor area 5,327 sq.m, and the provision of external cladding to Block K. The proposal includes the provision of an undercroft area under the proposed extension, which will provide secure bicycle parking and bin storage areas. The development also proposes: a reduction in surface car parking spaces from 10 No. to 4 No.; plant; and all other associated site excavation and site development works above and below ground.
