To develop 52 houses.
(a) 52 no. residential units comprising of:
(i) 7 no. single storey 2 bed houses, Unit Numbers 21, 22, 23, 24, 50, 51, 52
(ii) 2 no. 1.5 storey 2 bed houses Unit Numbers 45, 49;
(iii) 9 no. two storey 2 bed houses, Unit Numbers 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41;
(iv) 23 no. two storey 3 bed houses,Unit Numbers 02, 03, 04, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 (No. 32 is End Terrace);
(v) 6 no. three storey 3 bed houses, Unit Numbers 42, 43, 44, 46, 47, 48; and
(vi) 5 no. two storey 4 bed houses, Unit Numbers 01, 05, 12, 16, 20; with
(vii) renewable energy design measures for each housing unit; and
(b) supporting development works including
(i) removal of specific trees on the northern site boundary, identified for preservation in the Clonakilty Town Development Plan, to provide for site access off Western Road;
(ii) site access serving 3 no. dwellings off Park Road;
(iii) underground surface water attenuation;
(iv) ESB substation;
(v) temporary construction signage;
(vi) estate signage;
(vii) varied site boundary treatment comprising walls and fencing; and
(viii) all associated site works.
A Contract Notice was published on 26 February 2018 and following the evaluation of submissions, four candidates have been shortlisted to proceed to tender stage.
