Change of use of convent buildings to residential, light industrial, shops and offices and for Permission to
(a) develop a small service station with associated underground fuel storage tanks, deli and shop.
(b) refurbish/alter part of existing disused convent buildings for use as 4 dwelling houses to include 3 no. 2-bed houses and 1 no. 3-bed house.
(c) refurbish/part of existing disused convent building for use as 1 no. 2-bed apartment and 1 no. 4-bed duplex apartment.
(d) refurbish/alter part of existing disused convent building for use as a 1 no. 7-bed short term accommodation unit.
(e) construct garage to rear of existing two storey dwelling to east of site.
(f) convert existing disused church to offices.
(g) convert existing disused convent buildings for use as workshops and cafe.
(h) insert pedestrian access gate between existing school buildings and proposed shop.
(i) demolish 7 single-storey structures.
(j) demolish two external staircases
(k) construct new internal roads.
(l) construct 1.6m high timber post fence around periphery of site as necessary.
(m) removal of existing northern most entrance and portion of existing boundary wall to facilitate new service station entrance and improve and expand all other existing entrances.
(n) upgrade and reconstruct existing effluent treatment system. (o) improve landscaping and site boundaries.
(p) construct an outdoor lunch area.
(q) construct additonal car-parkng spaces and all associated site works. The Old Convent complex is listed as a protected structure in the Tipperary County Development Plan 2009, as varied, Reference No. S1082, NIAH Reference Numbers 22205506, 22205507 and 22205508.
