To realign the existing GAA pitch and flood lighting (6 no) and to construct a new all-weather pitch (65m x 40m), flood lighting (6no) and an overhead and side netting with a 5m high hurling wall at the Quarry Road end of the proposed new GAA pitch. The development will also consist of replacing the existing prefabs with a new 8 classroom three-storey school building with a general purpose room (173sq.m) and associated ancillary accommodation including an associated Naíonra (60 sq.m) with separate toilet facilities and its own entrance from Fassaugh Avenue separate to the main 8 classroom school entrance with site boundaries to Fassaugh Avenue and new boundary wall to the back garden of the Quarry Road residents. This development of an 8 classroom school three-storey building will have a total floor area of 1775.9 sq.m. The site works will consist of the reinstatement of the existing footpath along Fassaugh Avenue, and existing car parking to the GAA club house with a designated 16 no. car parking spaces catering for school staff, occasional visitors, 2 no. disabled car parking spaces with new decorative railing and access gates to the proposed new 8 classroom school facing Fassaugh Avenue with one hard play space & bicycle shelter connection to existing public water supply, foul drainage system, storm drainage system and rebound fencing with polyester coated galvanised posts 3.070m high, access gates to the pitch including ball stop overhead and side netting to the proposed GAA pitch on Fassaugh Avenue and also to the west and east side of the GAA pitch with associated landscaping on Fassaugh Avenue.
