Development on a site at Sreelane, Co. Limerick. The development to support Limerick Smarter Travel will consist of (i) a new cyclepath/footpath from main entrance to link-up with the existing path adjacent to the Kemmy Business School and (ii)re-modelling of the east gate entrance piers to facilitate increasing the width of the existing cyclepath/footpath and associated site development works. The site of the proposed development works is circa 200m from Plassey House and Fountain (a protected structure) and circa 300m from Plassey Mill and Headrace (a protected structure). The University of Limerick falls within an Architectural Conservation Area.
