Permission for development consisting of a solar farm development comprising of: the installation of photovoltaic panels on ground mounted frames in rows a 38kV ESB electricity substation compound including a single storey substation building and electrical infrastructure up to 23 no. single inverter stations (or an alternative string inverter provision) ducting and underground electrical cabling provision of some new internal access tracks and use of some existing agricultural tracks storage containers perimeter fencing pole mounted CCTV cameras vehicular access via existing private roads that connect directly to the L50783 construction of 2 no. passing bays along the L50783 and all associated site development and landscaping works. All on a site of approximately 37.97 hectares. The solar farm will have an operational lifespan of 40 years and an estimated export capacity of 30MW approx. of electricity. Planning permission is sought for a duration of 10 years.
