Work has begun on a €96 million residential development in Stillorgan, Co Dublin.

Developers Cairn Homes have commenced work at the former Blakes and Esmonde Motors site with the construction of two apartment blocks over basement. The buildings are to range from six to eight storeys, with the ground floor providing a creche and an ESB substation.

An Coimisiún Pleanála approved the scheme in March last year, which is set to deliver 377 new apartments.

As “Build To Rent” BTR apartments, developers will build the homes along six different buildings, ranging from three to nine storeys.
